The BSU wholeheartedly welcomes the active feedback and involvement of BSU Alumni. Alumni, who wish to reach back to the current BSU body and are capable of fostering and maintaining contact on an individualized basis, have the ability to do so with a current student in the academic area of their choice. It cannot be stressed how extremely valuable it is for current students to be able to receive academic, professional, and personal advice from a peer who can relate to their experiences.
For those Alumni who cannot make a long-term commitment to a particular student but still wish to get involved with the current BSU body, the Guest-Speaker opportunity is a great way to make an impact. As a Guest-Speaker, Alumni may speak at general meetings, informal seminars, or even during the popular Lecture Series Events.
