I
still cannot express in words my feelings on my day of ordination
in September 2002. You really blessed me spiritually. As
I have previously shared with you, I know God has placed
a call on my life. I know that I have been chosen by God
to stand beside and assist my husband, Pastor Brown, in
achieving all that God has planned for him in his ministry
journey. God has gifted me with the ability to teach His
word in plain, simply, language that all can understand
and apply to their daily lives. It is also obvious that
God provided my financial and administrative training to
be used for the Kingdom, and I thank Him each and every
day for allowing me the opportunity to serve in that capacity.
And last but certainly not least, thank you Mt. Lebanon
for allowing me to be me and not forcing me to be the stereo-type
of what a First Lady should be. I love you, for you have
made it easy to serve you.
In
HIS service,
Elder Valerie K. Brown
