Football Outlook:
The Hornets have a very talented team this
year. After going 5-2 in the district last
season, Deep Creek is certainly poised to
reclaim its position atop the conference.
Head coach David Cox has the talent, but
playing in arguably the toughest district
in the state, Cox has a long road ahead
of him to gain the district championship.
Players to
Watch:
Senior running back Antwain Carey
is arguably the best back in the state.
Junior running backs Josh Anderson
and Jarell Brooks will
also play big roles in the Hornets backfield.
Junior QB Michah Barnes
will lead the Hornets' high-powered offense.
Senior defensive backs Bobby Gatling
and Josh Hyman hold down
the Hornet secondary.
